We have been in our house for about six weeks now and it is starting to look and feel like home! We still have some painting to do and Caroline's room to finish, but there are no longer boxes lurking around every corner. Scott also spent three days working on the yard, so it looks fantastic!I joined a Mom's Club a few weeks ago and it has been great! I have met a great group of girls and we get together with the kids almost every day. One of the girls leads a stroller fitness class at the state park and it kicks my butt each week. :) Scott and I constantly tell each other how happy we are that we chose Benicia and found this house! Having my parents close by has been amazing. We get to go out to dinner with just the two of us sometimes! Caroline is now calling my mom "Mimi" (too hard to say Grammy) and my dad "Papa". My dad was very adamant about being "Grandpa" but once he heard that cute little voice say "Papa" he was over it.
C is such a good helper! She loves helping Grammy sweep.
