Christmas Eve

In our family, Christmas Eve is very laid back. We stay home and my parents make a wonderful prime rib dinner. Yum! Megan usually joins us and this year we got Katelyn too! When we were younger, we were allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve so this year my mom and I got matching pj pants for everyone to open. We were inspired by B and Wendy because they got matching pj's for Caroline and Joseph. We had a great night.
I can't believe Katie is 11...wow we are getting old!Cute cousins. :)

Christmas in Cali

Here are some pictures from Shea's camera of our visit. This is Caroline opening her first gift! Brooke was such a good helper.
Brooke is so good with babies. She is so cute! She is a funny little girl (I wonder who she gets that from). :)

Well it obviously isn't Christmas quite yet, but we are spending it this year in CA.The flights here were uneventful. Caroline (and Raja) did great! We got a pretty good deal on first class seats and it was so worth it! Having the extra space was so helpful. Caroline actually had some room to squirm around.
Being here has been fun so far. We saw Brian, Wendy and Joseph last night. Little Joe is such a cutie. I can't wait to get some pictures on here. He is a sweet baby. I got to see Shea and Brooke today and Scott and my dad have been running errands together non-stop. Hopefully they will get to play golf at some point. Megan is going to do my hair later this week which is always fun! The only sad thing was having to take the dogs to the kennel for the week. I feel so bad leaving them there, they were both shaking when I dropped them off. They will have to get lots of extra loves when we get back. Hopefully this will be the last time we have to board them!
I am so excited to see our extended family on Christmas. They haven't seen C since she was 8 weeks old. I will add some pictures soon!

No words needed :)

Look what I found...

when I went in to get Caroline up from her nap. She has been sittitng on her knees in her crib for a few days, and can now pull herself up and stand. She is so clever! I guess it is time to take out that cute bumper.

I just added these because I think they are silly. :)

Beautiful Girl

Last week Baby Girl and I had a little impromptu photo shoot. I could take pictures of her all day! She is just such a pumpkin and I love her so much. She really makes me happy!!
Gotta love Oliver kisses.

She really wanted Annie's bone. Annie, being the love bug that she is, gave it to her.

This little girl is always talking!

Look at the big girl crawling!!

Sunday

On Sunday we went to Kate's for Dillon's first birthday party. I can't believe he is already a year old! Time passes so quickly. He is walking all over the place these days. Caroline had a great time playing with her cousins and Kate made a yummy lasagna for dinner. :)

Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving was a three day event for us. Sarah stayed with us for the week and Gary drove from Texas and arrived on Thursday. Kate, Brian, Bridget and Dillon also came on Thursday and everyone stayed at our house until Saturday evening (except Sarah who stayed until Monday). It was like a giant slumber party! :) All of these pictures are from Kate's camera because I don't think we took many...Scott was more interested in the video camera!
That is definitely a full lap!
Caroline loves being upside down these days.

We bought a wii last week and it was enjoyed by all.

Sarah has her hands full!

I think this is such a cute picture of Bridget and Caroline.

Dillon looks like he is asking for the check. :)

More fun at the park. We were freezing, but the kids seemed to be just fine.

Such a a cute picture of Dillon.

Day at the park

A few weeks ago Kate, Brian, Bridget and Dillon came to our house for a visit. (Our laptop with the pictures is acting up so I "borrowed" Kate's pictures so I could finally add some...I hope you don't mind Kate!) :)
Anyway, we took the kids to the park and they had a great time! Caroline had her first experience on the slide. This made everyone a little sick...well, at least the adults. The kids seemed fine.
Bridget fed Caroline while I was getting dinner ready and she did a great job! Such a little mommy-in-training.
