Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went with Caroline's class to a Pumpkin Patch in Dixon. The kids got to take a ride through the pumpkin patch on a tractor and loved it! It was fun being able to go with a bunch of friends. Going a week day was also a bonus; there were hardly and other kids there which made it easier to watch our kids when they ran around.

Tahoe

A few weeks ago we took a trip to Tahoe for a few days. We have been looking into possibly buying a cabin and wanted to scout out some different areas. We did a lot of exploring and narrowed down our search quite a bit! We may not buy anything for a year or two but wanted to have an idea of the areas we like. And...going to Tahoe for a few days is always fun!

We didn't have much of an agenda, we just kind of bummed around...and it was a lot of fun! It was pretty cold the first couple of days, but warmed up after that. It's so nice that Scott's schedule finally allows for us to take trips again. :)

We tried Burger Me! (I think that is what it was called) in Truckee because it was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and it was fantastic! Best onion rings ever!

Dad's Birthday

This year for Dad's birthday, Scott had the day off so we all decided to go wine tasting. It was a fun day! (A little less fun for me, the DD!) :)

Santa Fe

Scott had a conference in Santa Fe last month so C and I decided to come too! One of the perks of staying home. :) We stayed in a hotel downtown so we were able to walk everywhere and barely used our rental car. Caroline and I bummed around a lot while he was in his conference but we met him during his breaks and lunch. We had never been to New Mexico and we had a really good time.
In the middle of downtown there was a big grassy park area where there were a bunch of concerts that week. Caroline and I spent a lot of time there. :)

One day C and I went to the Santa Fe Children's Museum. It wasn't very big but there were a lot of fun things to do and she loved it!

Gardening with Mimi

My mom planted a garden this summer thinking it would be fun for the grandkids and she was right! The first thing Caroline wants to do at Mimi and Papa's is water the garden and pick the tomatoes (or whatever is ready to be picked). After getting mud on her clothes the first few times we (we being me, the one who does the laundry) decided it is a great diaper-only activity. :) This has been so great for Mom and Caroline!

Fun day with Brooke

Last month we had a chance to visit with Shea, Brooke and Brianne. Caroline had so much fun playing with Brooke and wading in the pool. Caroline loved Brooke's princess dress up shoes so much we had to go buy her a set of her own. :)

Big News!

Caroline is going to be a big sister! We couldn't be happier and are so excited to add an addition to our little family! These are pics from my First Trimester Screening...so far everything is looking good! Caroline thinks there are babies in my belly, her belly and Daddy's belly. :) She loves babies and is going to be a great big sister!!
