So much hair...

Caroline is finally getting more hair (yay!). The only problem is that it grows faster in the back than on top. You all know what this means....Baby Mullet. Thank goodness for her little curls because it helps! I love all of the bows and headbands Grandma Sue (Amy's mom) gave to her but Caroline refused to keep them on her head. She and I had a little chat the other day about this. I told her we either wear some bows or get a trim. She must have understood because she will now tolerate hair accessories! :) When I put them in and show her the mirror she gets so excited....such a cutie!
We have found this great park in Elk Grove. It has different playgrounds and a water area. The first day I took her there she was terrified of the water. It sprays and splashes from all directions and she wanted nothing to do with it. We took her back today and all of the sudden she loved it. We didn't have her bathing suit on because I didn't think she would want to get wet so her clothes were soaking wet. She had a blast!

She loves her Lucy

Caroline got a baby doll for her Birthday...we named her Lucy. At first she didn't show too much interest in her but lately Lucy is her BFF. She takes her everywhere!

San Francisco

We spent a few days in San Francisco last week at Scott's Aunt's apartment in the city. Baby Girl had some SERIOUS bed head one morning while we were there! :)

We took Scott's mom to Benicia to see the house (which should hopefully be closing in a week or so!). Our realtor Chris was super nice to meet us there to show Linda the house.

This picture is at the water near our (soon-to-be) house

Great picture Scott took of the Golden Gate Bridge
Caroline liked listening to the Sea Lions. She was so interested in them!
Caroline wanted to see the "gold man" but got scared when we got too close. :)

This was a Sea Lion we saw off the pier in Benicia
Caroline loves the park. She can even go down the slide all by herself now.

Scarlett Salon and Spa

Megan recently opened her own salon! I am so proud of her and what she has accomplished this year. The salon is amazing...so cute and fancy. :) She had a grand opening on Friday with a runway hair show. She told me I had to be in it and I was super nervous, but it all went well!Yay Megan!

Here is the courtyard behind the salon before the party

Madie and Ellie...so cute!
The ribbon cutting ceremony. It was sweet.

Walking down the red carpet with Madie. She was nervous and didn't want to do it so we walked together!

Katelyn and Toby

Marissa, Joanna, Megan and me!

More house pictures

We had the inspection at the house yesterday. Everything looks good...there are a few little things that need attention, but nothing too serious. We are so excited about this house. My parents came too and also loved it!
Here are a few pictures of the kitchen...my favorite part. This kitchen has everything. I love the huge refrigerator and it also has a mini fridge (for drinks?). It has a warming drawer and a separate ice maker. It is my happy place. :)

Here is the living room
Dining Room
Family Room
This is a mural painted in the downstairs bathroom. It is a picture of the back of the house...showing the detached garage.
This is the "den". It is the 4th room and has a full bathroom.
Master Bathroom
Closet in the Master Bedroom...my other happy place. :)
Upstairs Hallway
Jack and Jill Bathroom between the other two bedrooms
We are really hoping everything works out with this house. It has everything we both want. I'll keep you posted!

Fairytale Town

Last week we took Caroline to Fairytale Town. I think she is still a little to young to really enjoy everything, but we made the best of it. She just really likes walking around everywhere. She is now running/trying to run so she trips and falls more. Her knees are all scratched up! She is getting a little tougher...less crying when she falls! She is very good at showing us where her head, ears, mouth and belly are. She can even show you where mommy and daddy's bellies are! She is also trying to "bounce like a bunny". She can bend her knees but isn't quite able to get off the ground. She loves the trampoline at the gym I have been taking her to and that is where all of the bouncing is coming from.
Here are a few pics from Fairytale town!

She really liked the slide!
She loved this bunny. She is very in to hugging these days. She will hug the dogs and was trying to hug the bunny. We were a little worried she would crush it! :)
She wanted to play with this girls keys. The girl was really patient with her.

Rough Night

Last week C was having a really hard time sleeping. Luckily it has gotten much better since then! One night she woke up at 2:45am and would not go back to sleep. She was ready to go for the day....I was not. We went into the Family Room and she played a little while I watched her from the couch. At about 6:00am she crawled on the couch with me and we went back to sleep. Apparently Scott captured this not-so-flattering-but-still-really-cute moment. I couldn't resist sharing. :)
